Ride-Away of East Hartford Recognized for Exceptional Customer Satisfaction

The Braun Corporation, the leading manufacturer of wheelchair accessible vehicles and wheelchair lift systems, recently honored Ride-Away of East Hartford, CT with the Customer 1st Award.  The award recipients were selected based on customer survey results over the course of 2010.  This award is presented to dealers who earned a score of 90% or above on the customer surveys that Braun had received, and the East Hartford team received an average score of 91.5%.

Ride-Away of East Hartford, the leading provider of wheelchair vans in Connecticut, has been delivering freedom to individuals with disabilities since 1997.  Ride-Away employees come to work each day dedicated, not only to providing the best wheelchair accessible vehicles, but also committed to enriching the quality of life in their communities. Whether it’s getting involved with a local non-profit organization, running a relay to fight Multiple Sclerosis or joining in a wide range of community activities, that dedication to serve has always been the benchmark for Ride-Away of East Hartford and its employees.

“Improving the lives of others and taking an active role in the community is vitally important,” says Ride-Away Vice President, Jaime Kuczewski.  “The employees at our East Hartford, CT facility know that providing the highest quality mobility products and customer service to our clients is what Ride-Away has consistently been known for, and they don’t just preach it; they live it day in, day out, and I am exceptionally proud that they have received this prestigious award.”

The employees at Ride-Away’s East Hartford location use their years of experience in the vehicle modification industry and their willingness to go the extra mile to make sure customers are given the highest level of satisfaction and customer service, to make the lives of the people and families within their community better.  Customers regularly write to Ride-Away of East Hartford to express their gratitude in unsolicited letters to the employees there.

One of our customers from Connecticut found out first-hand exactly what Ride-Away means when they say 24/7 service available.  It was a Saturday morning and this particular customer was having an issue with their lift and could not get it to close.  Thinking that she would just have to call, leave a message, and wait till Monday for a response, she was exhilarated when one of the Service Technician’s arrived at her house to fix the issue shortly after she had called.  The Service Technician was able to close the ramp, bring the vehicle back to Ride-Away and fix it.  “This was more than we expected and I appreciate you going above and beyond when you were not prepared to handle this at that time.  I have never had a bad experience working with your company and I look forward to your business in the future.”

Providing excellent customer service not only requires our Mobility Consultants to meet the needs of Ride-Away’s clients, but it also requires them to provide their clients with the most options for mobility products as well.  Ride-Away of East Hartford has introduced many new and innovative mobility products over the past year, including the GoShichi Wheelchair Accessible Pick-Up Truck, the Mobility Conquest Wheelchair Accessible Motorcycle, and the most revolutionary driving control products from Guidosimplex.  These ground-breaking products have given our clients more options, and more freedom to go where they want to go, when they want to.  As the leader in providing the finest mobility equipment options in Connecticut, Ride-Away knows that in order to remain at the forefront in the mobility industry, they must continue to offer innovative and ground-breaking products to their clients.

“We believe that our commitment to provide our clients with exceptional service is what separates us from our competition,” says Mark Lore, Ride-Away President/CEO.  “Our East Hartford location has received almost 1,000 unsolicited customer testimonials over the last decade, and this customer feedback is truly what we live for!  The commitment and dedication to our customers that our team in East Hartford has shown over the years is truly remarkable, and it proves that they all are very deserving of this award.”

BraunAbility has over 200 dealer locations nationwide, and each is staffed with mobility experts who are trained to evaluate the individual needs of customers.  Ride-Away of East Hartford, CT has been known for its outstanding customer service throughout the years, providing round-the-clock support for their customers with their 24/7 Roadside Assistance Program and will soon be implementing a 24/7 Sales Support Program to better serve the needs of their customers.

“Our customers rely on their dealers to provide a sales and service experience that addresses their unique needs,” says Braun President Nick Gutwein.  “These dealers have gone above and beyond in meeting their customers’ needs and building life-long relationships with them.”
