Ride-Away Heads to Providence for the City’s Annual International Auto Show

The Annual Providence International Auto Show gets bigger and better every year. The auto show features major domestic and import manufacturers featuring the latest cars, trucks, vans, hybrids and sport/utility vehicles.  You will also be able to catch a sneak peek of pre-production vehicles not in dealerships yet! Ride-Away will be featuring handicap accessible vehicles, and is proud to be a part of this exciting event.

Ride-Away will be at the annual Providence International Auto Show for the duration – all four days. The show starts on Thursday, February 2, and runs through Sunday, February 5. Thursday and Friday the hours are 12 pm until 10 pm. On Saturday, visitors can access the auto show from 10 am until 10 pm. On Sunday the hours are 10 am to 5 pm. Kids Day is Sunday where kids 12 and under are admitted FREE when accompanied by a paying adult. Directions and more information can be found at the Motor Trend Auto Show’s website.

Ride-Away invites everyone to come down and visit them at the auto show – The staff will be in the Ballroom Level at Booth B-6. We will have some of the newest options in handicap vans and mobility technology on hand for visitors to see and experience, including a 2011 Honda Rear Entry with a Viewpoint conversion and 2011 Dodge Side Entry Companion van. Visitors will also be able to see mobility technology like wheelchair ramps, wheelchair lifts, the innovative power-kneeling system, hand controls and more.

The Providence International Auto Show also offers more than the latest in new and upcoming vehicles. Be sure to check out the Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Shelby Mustang Nitro Funny Car on display and experience the FREE Sony Digital Link Sound Demonstration. A free downloadable Motor Trend Auto Show app for iPhone users is also available to buy tickets, map your route, view participating manufacturers and receive vehicle information.

Don’t forget…Sunday is Kids Day! Spider-Man® will greet fans and pose for photos, between 10 am and 12:30 pm, as well as Captain America®, between 1:30 pm and 4 pm. Attendees are not guaranteed to see characters during advertised hours.

Join Ride-Away of Massachusetts at Two Great Walks This Weekend

Ride-Away of Massachusetts will be supporting two great walks this upcoming weekend -the Walk MS Event in Falmouth MA, and The Spina Biffida 2nd Annual Walk-N-Roll Event in Dedham MA, both on Sunday, September 25th.  The Walk-N-Roll event is in its second year, and the goal of this event it to raise awareness about Spina Bifida and celebrate the accomplishments of the over 180,000 Americans living with it . All proceeds are used for programs and services for people living with Spina Bifida.  The Walk MS event is designed to raise funds to help people who have MS, and their families, through MS education, support, advocacy, services, and research.  Ride-Away will be at both events and is looking forward to seeing all of the participants at both sites!

Ride-Away Proudly Supports the Miracle League of Massachusetts

The Miracle League of Massachusetts is a charitable organization that provides children with mental, emotional and/or physical challenges an opportunity to play baseball as a team member in an organized league.  This Saturday, September 17th, they will be holding their 1st Annual Miracle League of Massachusetts Casino Night, that will help raise funds for the construction of an all-accessible, rubberized turf field that will be built in Acton, MA.  Ride-Away of Massachusetts proudly supports the Miracle League of MA and whishes them a successful event this weekend!  For more information on the Casino Night event, please visit the Miracle League of Massachusetts website.

The new facility will allow us to better serve our customers and meet their mobility needs in a variety of new ways:

    • No longer will you have to worry about getting out of your vehicle in inclement weather!

To better serve you, here are the details for our big move:

  • We will be closing our current office at 12:00PM on Friday, January 28th, and begin the moving process to our new facility.
  • Our phones will be switched over to our answering service so that during our transfer process, we will still be able to receive your calls and assist you with any inquiries!
  • From the January 28th through January 30th, we will be moving everything over to our new facility, and will be open for business on Monday, January 31st at 57 George Leven Drive!!!

We will be making sure that our customers that have service and sales appointments, keep those appointments as scheduled.
