The award recipients were selected based on customer survey results over the course of 2010. This award is presented to dealers who earned a score of 90% or above on the customer surveys that Braun had received, and the Tampa team received an average score of 94.1%.

Most recently, Ride-Away presented a gentleman named Jerome Franklin, who was left paralyzed after a severe motorcycle accident 25 years ago, and had battled with addiction and depression for several years after his accident, with a Ford E150 Full-Size wheelchair van that was modified specifically with a wheelchair lift from BraunAbility.
Transportation had always been an issue for Jerome. He has had to rely on friends and co-workers to get him where he needed to go, and he hasn’t been able to enjoy the freedoms he once was able to. When Ride-Away heard about Jerome’s situation, they knew right away that something had to be done. Ride-Away, in continuing their philanthropic ways, was able to get Jerome a wheelchair van and the mobility equipment to fit his needs, so that Jerome can go where he wants, when he wants.
